haiku

Glass balls and glowing lights.
Dead tree in living room.
Killed to honor birth

haiku

In all this cool
is the moon also sleeping?
There, in the pool?

haiku

A giant firefly:
that way, this way, that way, this -
and it passes by

haiku

Right at my feet -
and when did you get here,
snail?

haiku

Pressing Sushi;
After a while,
A lonely feeling

haiku

Covered with the flowers,
Instantly I'd like to die
In this dream of ours

haiku

Temple bells die out.
The fragrant blossoms remain.
A perfect evening!

haiku

The years first day
thoughts and loneliness;
the autumn dusk is here.

haiku

Fallen sick on a journey,
In dreams I run wildly
Over a withered moor.

haiku

the morning paper
harbinger of good and ill
- - I step over it

haiku

Freeway overpass--
Blossoms in grafitti on
fog-wrapped June mornings

haiku

Behold the ego
Set in glowing emptiness
On the edge of time

haiku

The flap of a bat,
drip drip of monsoon waters.
Ancient image stares.

haiku

Darkended dreams
become modern grapes of wrath
reaping a bitter wine

haiku

Quiet around the point: ducks;
up down birches
helicopter

haiku

Right at my feet -
and when did you get here,
snail?

haiku

My grumbling wife -
if only she were here!
This moon tonight...

haiku

  • An old pond!
    A frog jumps in-
    The sound of water.

  • The first soft snow!
    Enough to bend the leaves
    Of the jonquil low.
  • haiku

    Without flowing wine
    How to enjoy lovely
    Cherry blossoms?

    Semester #6

In America, a new way of schooling is starting to envelop in are neighborhoods and societies. This type of schooling is known as single sex schools. The basis of the schools is to basically separate males from females by having their own institutions. I personally feel that single sex schools are wrong and should no longer continue. My evidence can convince you that I am correct.
The one reason why I feel the schools should no longer exist is because it damages socializing skills. I say this because in today’s world in order for most of our survival, we must learn to co-exist and work together. Now, if a boy who has constantly worked with only males happens to be matched with a female partner, the resolutions will end up in one of two ways. The male might feel uncomfortable with working with the female for the fact that he has never worked with one. Or the male might become completely prejudice to the female and feel that she must do all the work. An example of this is when you look at police officers.
When one officer’s partners, who have all been males,  dies  and then gets a female partner, not only will he reject her because of being new, but also for being s woman. My second reason is that it leads to prejudice between the sexes and their thoughts on one another. Even though both sexes already have thoughts on the other, it would increase with the division between the two. Males would of course believe more that the female race is inferior and that men are the primary gender when it comes to the building of this country. While women will see men as mostly unintelligent people , who rely on primitive ways to solve problems.
The final reason is that it is a simple solution to complex problem in dealing with child awareness and participation in schools. People believe that if  we separate our genders that this going to increase concentration in the classes. Also, that it might help each sex concentrate on college and not each other. That theory is false to the point that it is funny. No matter if you divide the sexes, both will still be distracted by one thing or another. The problems could be from friends, family problems, and etc. Also it is best for the sexes to interact for both mental reasons. An example is because most men in some way look for a mother like figure in all women. Whether for advice , mental stability, or someone to have as a comforting tool. Most men cannot find that in other men because of the teachings of other males.

    In a bed of brown

    Figure OF Speech # 7

    Fear contaminates my soul
I wear it like a cloak

    Why does fear hurt me
Why does everyone wear it on their sleeves
Why cant it go to another city or town

    Figure Of Speech #6

    Bravery runs through my mind
Others have worn it on their chest

    I hear crackling

    This bitter new day

    Buds blooming in May

    FIGURE OF SPEECH #1

The metal clothes the wood in which the beat came from
And rolls down the streets of Manhattan

    Concrete Details: Army

THe Army marches as one. A unity in which no foriegn ruler or society can break. Together we are a team with the ultimate goal to protect our country from any disaster imaginable. Together my brothers and sisters stand up to whatever threat comes our way. I would gladly die for them and they would willingly do the eact same thing.

    Concrete Word: Whale

The whale was humongous in size and had  the most graceful wave through the water. No mere man could try and topple this massive creature with all their might. Krill would scatter away from the monsterous opening falling upon them every single inch. Only i could tame this beast with it's massive tail and gigantor posture. But i could have never expected for it to become my friend.
